Our story
Who are we?
We are Sophie and Henry, French-born with Chinese and Cambodian roots. We grew up and studied in Paris before pursuing our careers in Hong Kong and Singapore.
During the pandemic, we reunited in Cambodia, our parents' homeland. This marked the beginning of an incredible adventure for us.
How it started?
It all started when we moved to Cambodia in 2020. As we traveled through the country, we discovered our rich heritage and a land abundant in culture, history, and craftsmanship.
We met talented artisans and communities: weavers, ceramists, artists - each preserving generations of craftsmanship. Inspired by their dedication, we founded POASIA to create a platform that honors and shares their artistry with the world.
Through curated, handmade collections, we bring the essence of Cambodian craftsmanship into contemporary living spaces.

All our products are entirely handmade by local artisans. Every POASIA piece is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques. We celebrate the beauty of imperfection, ensuring each product reflects its unique character and authenticity.
ETHICAL
Craftsmanship remains a strong activity in the villages and provinces of Cambodia. It allows people in rural communities, especially women, to have economic autonomy and a good work-life balance while preserving their skills and traditions.

Sustainability is at the heart of POASIA. We carefully select natural, eco-friendly materials and promote responsible production methods. Our commitment extends to sustainable packaging, using recycled and biodegradable materials to minimize our environmental footprint.
